If you are considering selling or purchasing DVC points from the resale market, it’s great to keep an eye out for trends and prices.
Oftentimes, the cost per point in small contracts is more expensive than in larger contracts!
In August 2022, a contract with less than 100 points at Boardwalk Villas was $144.95/point. A contract with over 200 points at the same resort was $121.50/point.
In July 2022, the average price per point for a Beach Club resale contract was $162.40. In August, it was $140.82 per point. That's a decrease of 13.29%!
August 2022's average DVC resale price per point was $134.71, while August 2021's average was $126.61. Prices at almost every DVC resort have gone up in the past year.
Fidelity helps buyers get DVC contracts for a fraction of the price. For example, in August 2022, Bay Lake Tower resale contracts were an average of $104/point cheaper than directly from Disney.
The parks have put up their autumn decorations and have rolled out some devilishly delicious Halloween snacks. Disney’s annual Halloween parties have also begun!
