The Hyatt Beach house in Key West is a great vacation. My wife and I usually rent bikes for the week and avoid the rental car. You can bike downtown on the very safe bike paths. All of the best restaurants have a bike rack out front to lock them up. I have great memories of riding back after an evening in Key West in the warm air in January. The resort is excellent, the apartment spacious, the screened porch is really nice.
The Hyatt system is really pretty easy to use. We have owned this timeshare since 2008 and have traded our 2,200 points to most of the warm weather locations they offer. We have been to the Maui, Hawaii property multiple times (it is next to the Hyatt Regency Kaanapali and you have access to all their pools and restaurants), Sedona Arizona, Lake Tahoe (two locations), Carmel, California. The 2,200 points is a big deal, it is usually the minimum point value to trade to the resorts we have been to. If you have less annual points for your week it will be more difficult to enjoy these other Hyatt Vacation Club resorts. We found all of the resorts to be first class with great staff. Super vacations.
