Timeshare Nassau Bahamas: Harborside, Cable Beach, and More!

Timeshare Nassau Bahamas Feature

The Bahamas are one of the most accessible destinations in the Caribbean. They’re just a short hop away from Florida, and all you need to go there is a passport! There’s no language barrier, no visas, and no need to exchange currency. If you’re looking for a Caribbean timeshare, Nassau, Bahamas timeshare resorts are the place to be. With easy access to the country’s most popular attractions, you can’t go wrong with a Nassau timeshare.

Why a Nassau, Bahamas Timeshare?

Nassau is the capital city of the Bahamas. Founded in 1670 as Charles Town and rechristened as Nassau in 1695, the city was a haven for pirates and privateers before becoming the tourism hotspot it is today. Today, the Bahamas offer white sand beaches, world-class entertainment, spectacular casinos, and some of the best golf in the Caribbean.

The tourism hub of Nassau is Paradise Island, located across the bridge from downtown. This island is home to the enormous Atlantis resort complex, where you’ll find the Aquaventure water park, Atlantis Casino, and more. Visitors to Atlantis can access its restaurants, movie theater, and shopping complexes. It’s the perfect spot to begin your island adventure.

Here’s a travel tip. While not all of Nassau’s resorts are timeshares, that doesn’t mean you can’t explore them during your stay. Basically, buying a day pass lets you enjoy all-inclusive amenities without giving up the space and convenience of a timeshare. Plus, when you buy a timeshare on the secondary market with Fidelity Real Estate, you can save thousands! Get a lifetime of presidential luxury at penny-pinching prices.

Timeshare Nassau Bahamas: Harborside Resort at Atlantis

Of course, as nice as day passes are, nothing beats actually staying at one of those enormous resorts. That’s why the Harborside Resort at Atlantis is one of the most popular Bahamas timeshare resorts on our marketplace. Not only are you within steps of everything Atlantis has to offer, but you don’t need to buy a day pass. You’ll get free admission with your stay.

The Harborside Resort at Atlantis is part of the Marriott Vacation Club and offers all the perks you’d expect from an MVC timeshare. Rooms are spacious villas, equipped with kitchens and full baths. Larger villas come with balconies and more extensive kitchens, including all the cookware you’ll need to make an island feast. Of course, with Atlantis just outside your door, you probably won’t be doing much cooking!

Harborside is located on the edge of the Atlantis complex, next to Marina Village. You’re within walking distance of major attractions, but still have plenty of breathing room. If you’re just looking to relax, Harborside also offers its own pools.

Incredible Aquaventures

One of Atlantis’s biggest attractions is the Aquaventure water park. Themed to the legendary lost city, Aquaventure spans a massive 141 acres! Best of all, your stay at Harborside Resort includes unlimited access to all of Aquaventure’s attractions!

The most iconic attraction at Aquaventure is the Leap of Faith, a 60-foot slide that sends riders rushing through an underwater tunnel. This is the famous ‘shark tank’ slide featured in Atlantis’s advertising. During the ride, you’ll slide through an aquarium of basking sharks. Don’t worry, though: you won’t actually be sharing the water with any toothy fish.

Timeshare Nassau Bahamas: Paradise Island Beach Club

For a more boutique experience, you should turn to Paradise Island Beach Club. This independent timeshare offers a quieter, more intimate experience without sacrificing fun. If you prefer tranquility and privacy over proximity to the action, this is the place for you. Accommodations here are comparable to those at Harborside. However, with just 44 villas on site, you can expect more direct attention.

Paradise Island Beach Club sits on world-famous Cabbage Beach, known for its white sand, gentle waves, and beautiful coral reef. While Cabbage Beach is open to the public, guests at Paradise Island Beach Club have access to a private stretch of beach with complimentary loungers and oceanside food and drink service. You can also relax on an elevated deck if you prefer your sun without sand.

The resort operates on a weekly schedule, with a welcome party on Monday, a dinner under the stars on Wednesday, and an excursion to secluded Rose Island on Thursday. The week closes out with a poolside barbecue each Saturday. Of course, you don’t have to stick to the schedule. The resort’s concierge will happily make arrangements for whatever you might need, from dinner reservations to private tours.

Downtown Nassau

While you’re staying at Paradise Island Beach Club, it’s worth taking a taxi into Nassau proper. This historic city is one of the most iconic destinations in the Bahamas. In fact, you can begin your island adventure with a stroll on one of Nassau’s most iconic landmarks.

The Queen’s Staircase was carved out of solid limestone in the late 1700s by over 600 slaves. Despite the elegant name, the staircase had a utilitarian purpose. It was built as an emergency passage to and from Fort Fincastle, located on the highest point in Nassau. It wasn’t until the 19th century that it gained its current name: a tribute to Queen Victoria, who ended slavery in the British Empire. Booking a walking or biking tour from the picturesque Queen’s Staircase is your ticket to some of the most stunning views in the Bahamas.

Timeshare Nassau Bahamas: Goldwynn Resort and Residences

Let’s leave Paradise Island behind for now and head to beautiful Cable Beach to visit the Goldwynn Resort and Residences. This boutique resort is inspired by the golden age of travel. Goldwynn will make you feel like a celebrity escaping to a secluded, exclusive resort. This place has class.

The first thing you’ll notice at Goldwynn is the art: the resort’s minimalist aesthetic highlights an eclectic collection of works by local artists, ranging from photographs and collages to towering, multi-story statues. The art collection reflects a core part of the resort’s ethos. Rather than monopolizing your attention, it serves to accent and elevate the destination. This is not the only thing you came to Nassau for, but it’s also so much more than the place you sleep. It accompanies the island as a fine wine complements a meal.

Speaking of meals, Goldwynn is home to a humble collection of eateries. This may seem underwhelming compared to the cavalcade of offerings you’ll find at Atlantis or nearby Baha Mar, but there’s an intentionality to it all that’s reflected in the quality of the fare. Each eatery at Goldwynn serves a purpose: OIA is the centerpiece, offering Mediterranean- and Asian-fusion cuisine in a luxurious setting. For a quick breakfast or a casual hangout, Atria is the place to be. Sip coffee in the morning, or grab a cocktail before bed. Comparatively, Amara, the resort’s beachfront and poolside cafe, offers small bites, sandwiches, and cocktails, which you can have delivered directly to your private cabana. Finally, Bar Paul offers a sophisticated lounge experience that takes on a bustling atmosphere each evening. Oh, and did we mention there’s room service?

Baha Mar

Baha Mar, like Atlantis, is a massive resort complex featuring a water park, golf courses, and more. The Baha Mar Casino is the highlight, featuring over 1,100 machines, 119 live tables, and even beachside gambling. Ever play Craps by the ocean? You can here!

Despite being smaller, the Baha Bay Waterpark at Baha Mar has over two dozen attractions, along with a FlowRider surf simulator. Hop on a surf or boogie board and catch an artificial wave on this popular attraction, even when the real waves are too mellow for surfing. Guests at Goldwynn can visit this and Baha Bay’s other attractions by purchasing a day pass.
