Per the owner:

Since this is based on points, you are able to borrow them from next years (taking points from the very last year downwards). And you can bank them (save them) for future years as well.

The cost to borrow extra points will be paying the maintenance fee, meaning $0.5/point.

You can also use points towards paying all-inclusive/spa/anything on the hotel. The cost is half of the actual cost (basically they accept you paying with points at $0.5/point)
