Per the owner: While I was still living and working in Los Angeles, it was the perfect distance for an easy getaway.
The beaches in Carlsbad are beautiful and very clean.
Carlsbad Village is charming and there are so many wonderful restaurants in the area.
And since I am a serious swimmer I was excited that there was an adult pool suitable for lap swimming.
