Per the owner:

No vendors on the beach. No horses or dogs on the beach. No "Jungle Boat" in the bay. No (or very few) drunken tourists. Grand Solmar feels very safe and secure. The staff is extremely friendly. The architecture is elegant and Mexican (not modern American city). The kitchen is great for preparing all of our own meals. The location is walkable to the Marina and to parts of what still feels like "Old Town" Cabo. There are 6 pools to choose from. The atmosphere is VERY relaxing.
