Thanksgiving Week Timeshare at The Links Golf & Racquet Club – North Myrtle Beach
For many years, we created wonderful memories while staying at The Links Golf & Racquet Club in North Myrtle Beach! This resort has truly been a family tradition for us — three generations of grandparents, parents, and kids — and it’s the kind of place we loved coming back to year after year. Our special week (week 47) has usually been Thanksgiving week, which made it even more memorable. Spending the holiday together at The Links gave us a chance to relax, reconnect, and create traditions that became part of our family story.
The resort always felt more like a home than a hotel, with spacious two-story townhouses that gave everyone plenty of room. Each unit has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, cozy fireplace, and a private patio or balcony, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy holiday meals together. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and then gathering by the fireplace became one of our favorite parts of the trip.
The amenities are another reason we kept coming back. The kids grew up splashing in the indoor pools, while the adults enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. We spent afternoons on the tennis and basketball courts, evenings in the game room, and many nights grilling together at the picnic areas.
The location has always been a highlight too. The resort is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful community, yet only about a mile from the ocean. Having access to the private beach cabana with parking was a huge plus. Even in late November, the weather was pleasant enough to enjoy the shoreline, and we were close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions whenever we wanted a change of pace.
What made The Links so special for us is how perfectly it worked for every generation. The grandparents loved the peaceful setting, the parents appreciated the space and convenience, and the kids always had something to keep them entertained. It’s rare to find a resort that feels this welcoming for such a wide age range, and it gave us years of happy family vacations.
Now, as time has passed, our situation has changed — the grandparents can no longer travel, and the grandkids have grown up and started lives of their own. That’s why we’ve made the decision to sell our timeshare. It’s bittersweet, because The Links has been such a big part of our family’s holiday tradition. But we know it will bring just as much joy to another family looking for a place to celebrate Thanksgiving or simply enjoy a relaxing getaway together.
For anyone considering it: The Links Golf & Racquet Club is a wonderful spot for family vacations. It’s spacious, comfortable, and full of amenities, all in a great location. We’ll always treasure our Thanksgiving weeks here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable stay in North Myrtle Beach.
