-It's directly on the beach... you step out the back door onto the sand
-East End is the "quieter" side of Grand Cayman, without cruise ships docking or major retail outlets and crowds
-Small stores right across the street for convenience
-Great restaurant (David's) on the Morritt's resort property
-Convenient shuttles for those who want to go to the other end of the island but don't want to drive
-Infinity pool next to the Grand buildings made me never want to leave the resort
