Things we loved about the resort are:
1. A one-of-a-kind unit at the Barcelo Aruba (there is only one 3-bedroom unit, sleeping 8 to 10).
2. It is huge, with one of its 3 separable units, No. 2925, being a junior suite all by itself.
3. Barcelo is centrally located in the high-rise hotel district.
4. All kinds of shopping and restaurants are just steps away from the property, within walking distance.
5. All 3 bedrooms have full-view balconies, with great, unobstructed views and in-suite bathrooms.
6. Aruba is one of the safest and most popular islands in the Caribbean, outside of the hurricane belt.
7. US currency is easily accepted all over the island.
8. Aruba has two large, modern supermarkets not far from the property, as well as Starbucks, Wendy's, McDonald's, and other American favorites.
9. Scuba diving, water sports, and numerous sightseeing trips, including by horseback or 4-wheelers.
10. Nightlife and evening entertainment at many hotels and venues.
11. A number of exciting casinos on the island, including Marriott Stellaris, Hyatt Regency, Radisson, Alhambra, and Glitz Casino at LaCabana Resort.
12. An 18-hole golf course at Tierra Del Sol, surrounded by multimillion-dollar homes.
13. Fantastic sunsets, plus moonlight cruises and popular daylight cruises.
