What Is Disney Springs?

While you will need to pass through a simple security check to enter the complex, admission is free. This makes Disney Springs a perfect place to visit on non-park days. You only pay for what you purchase, so you can window shop to your heart’s content.
How Do You Get to Disney Springs?
Unlike similar shopping complexes at other theme parks, Disney Springs is a stand-alone attraction. It’s not attached to any of the main gates, and isn’t served by the Monorail or Skyliner. Most guests arrive by car: parking is free, and garages and surface lots are spread throughout the district. If you prefer, you can also purchase premium or valet parking for a fee.
You can also take advantage of complimentary transportation. Bus service is complimentary for resort guests, and select resorts also offer ferry service to Disney Springs. If you’re staying at Old Key West or Saratoga Springs, you can walk directly to Disney Springs instead.
If you prefer rideshare, there’s a dedicated drop-off/pick-up point near the Marketplace district. It’s served by both Uber and Lyft, as well as Disney’s Minnie Van service.
The 4 Neighborhoods of Disney Springs
Disney Springs is split into four districts, each offering a slightly different experience. Each neighborhood is also inspired by a different era of Florida architecture, so be sure to take in the signature Disney details while you explore!
Marketplace
If you’re souvenir shopping, the Marketplace is where to start. Inspired by the American Craftsman style of the 1930s, this district is home to the largest World of Disney Store and various other Disney-focused retailers. You can grab some home decor or custom phone cases at the Marketplace Co-Op, get your holiday shopping in at Disney’s Days of Christmas, or splurge on a one-of-a-kind work of art at the Art of Disney.
There are also non-Disney offerings. Kids love the LEGO Store, and older shoppers will love the bath products at Basin or the unique flavors of the Spice and Tea Exchange. Be sure to check out the elaborate LEGO sculptures on display while you’re here!
If you’re hungry, you’ve got a handful of options. Families with children may enjoy Rainforest Cafe or its prehistoric sibling, T-REX. For a more sophisticated dining experience, eet by Maneet Chauhan offers Indian-inspired cuisine in a colorful, intimate setting. You can also grab a quick bite at Earl of Sandwich or B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co, or indulge in a shake at Ghirardelli’s.

Town Center
Looking for even more shopping? The Town Center, inspired by the Spanish Revival architecture of the 1920s, is Disney Springs’ main shopping district. Town Center features stores from popular brands like Sephora, Uniqlo, Coach, and ZARA, offering a blend of typical and Disney-exclusive offerings. If you’re looking for a new outfit to wear to the parks, or just want something a bit fancier than a pair of mouse ears, this is the place to go.
There are a handful of restaurants in the Town Center district. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is a local favorite, blending high-quality food with affordable prices. D-Luxe Burger, The Daily Poutine, and Chicken Guy! are great for quick bites. If you’re looking for a sit-down meal, you can indulge in local BBQ at the Polite Pig, experience the culinary craft of Wolfgang Puck, or stargaze at Planet Hollywood.
The Landing
Built on the former site of Pleasure Island, the Landing is Disney Springs’ main dining district. This nautical-inspired neighborhood is home to the bulk of Disney Springs’ restaurants, like The Boathouse, Morimoto’s Asia, and Maria & Enzo’s. It’s also home to a smaller selection of shops, such as Oakley, Havaianas, and Corkcicle.
One of the hottest spots on the Landing is Gideon’s Bakehouse. This whimsically macabre bakery is famous for its massive, half-pound cookies packed from edge to edge with toppings. Every cookie is baked on site, and there’s usually a line going well out the door even on the slowest day. Keep an eye out for Six Ravens: Gideon’s savory sister location that specializes in tasty hand pies called Coffyns.
West Side
The West Side is Disney Springs’ entertainment district, themed to a 1950s exposition center. The anchor of the space is Cirque du Soleil: Drawn to Life: a tribute to the art of Disney animation that you can only see here. However, there’s plenty more to do here, from hot air balloon rides to bowling. There’s also the famous House of Blues, for fans of live music.
New in 2026 is Level99, a sprawling indoor playground built on the former site of DisneyQuest.
