To better understand just how much you can save, and the pricing trends, continue reading this guide for the January 2026 average DVC resale price per point.

What’s Coming Up at Disney?

One of the best advantages of owning Disney Vacation Club is that you get to return to the parks year after year, with something new to experience every visit! Unlike many vacation spots where you enjoy the similar activities each visit, Disney destinations are constantly adding new experiences. New attractions open, seasonal festivals occur throughout the year, and special events keep guests excited to return. For DVC members, your vacation will never feel repetitive, there is always something new to explore! Here are some of the latest additions to the park, current festivals, and highly anticipated attractions coming soon.

Walt Disney World:

  • Festival of the Arts at EPCOT: From January 16 through February 23, 2026, EPCOT transforms into an art lover’s paradise. With festival booths full of Disney inspired pieces by iconic artists, interactive opportunities, and plenty of snacks, you can’t miss this festival!
  • Tropical Americas coming to Animal Kingdom: While Dinoland USA officially closed February 2nd, there is something new on the horizon to look forward to. In 2027 a Tropical Americas land will be joining Animal Kingdom with new Encanto and Indiana Jones themed attractions.
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios: Big changes are coming to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster! The last day to visit this high-speed roller coaster with Aerosmith as the star is March 2, 2026, as a new Muppets theme will be taking over, opening Summer 2026.
  • Piston Peak at Magic Kingdom: Construction has begun for the new Cars Land expansion at Magic Kingdom. This exciting addition will be coming to Frontierland, bringing two fantastic new attractions to the park with it.

Disneyland:

  • Lunar New Year Festival: The Lunar New Year celebration has just begun at Disneyland and continues through February 22nd! This festive event welcomes the year of the Horse with special entertainment like performances, a nighttime spectacular pre-show, special character appearances, and Asian cuisine.
  • Disney After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite: This special Valentines-themed after-hours event takes place on select nights from January 22nd through February 17th and is the perfect place to celebrate the season of love. By attending this separately-ticketed event after the park closes, you’ll experience rare character meet and greets, themed treats, dance parties, and special event fireworks.
