October DVC Resale Price Per Point

Disney Vacation Club ownership can open the door to years of memorable family trips, and the resale market often offers the most cost-effective way to get started. When you purchase points from an existing member rather than directly from Disney, you typically pay a lower price per point. Plus, you still stay at the same beloved resorts and book through the same member reservation system. Resale pricing rises and falls over the course of the year, so keeping track of the numbers can turn a good purchase into a great one. Below, you’ll find the October 2026 average DVC resale price per point to help you compare your options, along with the latest Disney Parks news that could shape your next vacation.

What’s Coming to the Disney Parks?

Owning Disney Vacation Club points means no two trips have to look the same. Walt Disney World keeps growing and changing, adding new attractions, seasonal celebrations, and fresh experiences throughout the year. As an owner, you’ll have a comfortable home base for enjoying each new experience, year after year. Before we share the October 2026 average DVC resale price per point, let’s look at the latest Disney Parks news and the experiences worth planning your next stay around.

Walt Disney World — Holiday Festivities Coming Soon

The most wonderful time of the year is almost here at Walt Disney World, and the 2026 holiday lineup gives families plenty of reasons to plan a festive getaway.

Disney Jollywood Nights returns to Hollywood Studios on select nights from November 7, 2026, through January 5, 2027. This 5-hour after-hours celebration features more than 20 character experiences, the dazzling Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime spectacular, and the brand-new Checkin’ It Twice Lounge. You can also dance alongside favorite Pixar pals at Pixar Disco or unwind with live holiday tunes at the Twilight Soirée.

Over at Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs select nights from November 8 to December 22. The evening includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and the Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show at Cinderella Castle, along with complimentary cookies and beverages.

Rounding out the season, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth takes place from November 27 through December 30. Highlights include the moving Candlelight Processional, global flavors at the Holiday Kitchens, and JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, plus Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt for younger explorers.

Disneyland — Holiday Magic is Just Around the Corner

The holiday magic is heading west, too. From November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027, the Disneyland Resort will be decked out for the season across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney District, and the Resort hotels.

At Disneyland Park, families can watch Santa and favorite characters roll down Main Street, U.S.A. in A Christmas Fantasy Parade. In the evening, guests can gather to see the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks light up the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle, complete with a gentle sprinkling of snow. Classic attractions also get a festive makeover. Haunted Mansion Holiday brings a merrily spooky twist, and “it’s a small world” Holiday fills the air with cheerful tidings. Each night, the castle transforms into a shimmering showpiece during Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle.

Over at Disney California Adventure, World of Color – Season of Light brings Disney and Pixar stories to life with glowing fountains and swirling snowflakes. Disney Festival of Holidays and Disney ¡Viva Navidad! add seasonal flavors, music, and traditions from cultures around the world.

For DVC Members with points at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, it’s a wonderful chance to enjoy the season just steps from the celebration. It also shows how far a well-chosen resale contract can take your family.

With so much excitement to look forward to, your DVC points open the door to magical getaways year after year. Keep reading to see the average DVC resale price per point for October 2026!

October 2026 Average DVC Resale Price Per Point by Contract Size

The price per point on the DVC resale market changes every month, so when you buy can make a real difference in what you pay. Two things shape that price more than anything else: the contract’s home resort and its total number of points. If you already own and just want a few extra points, a contract with fewer than 75 points is often a great fit. Families who love visiting Disney often, or who enjoy longer vacations, usually look at contracts of 350 points or more. Larger contracts can come with a lower price per point, though that’s not always the case. The final cost depends on the home resort and the terms of each listing, so we’re happy to help you compare your options and feel confident before you commit.

DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!

2026 October Average DVC Resale Prices Chart

From January through October 2026, the DVC resale market stayed on a steady course, and most resorts closed out the month slightly ahead of where they began the year. To make your comparisons easier, we’ve grouped each resort into one of four pricing tiers below.

Highest Pricing Tier

Grand Californian finished at the top of the market once again, averaging $267.14 per point in October. Its location inside the Disneyland Resort continues to draw strong interest from buyers, and that demand keeps its prices well above the rest of the lineup. In Florida, Polynesian ($178.10) and Grand Floridian ($173.50) led the way, with consistent buyer interest from month to month. Disneyland Hotel deserves a closer look this month. Its October average of $157.80 is still below its 2025 average of $168.28, so buyers may have an opportunity to secure a West Coast home resort at a more reasonable price.

Mid Pricing Tiers

The mid-tier resorts stayed within a narrow range of roughly $120 to $146 per point. Copper Creek ranked first in this group at $141.34. Bay Lake Tower followed at $142.72, then Beach Club Villas at $141.20, Boardwalk Villas at $134.92, and Riviera Resort at $122.90. Prices at each of these resorts have changed only slightly since January, which gives buyers a clear and predictable picture of what to expect.

Value Pricing Tier

The value tier spans about $98 to $116 per point. Animal Kingdom Lodge came in at $117.78, with Boulder Ridge at $109.48, Saratoga Springs at $104.04, Aulani at $101.94, and Old Key West at $97.02. Saratoga Springs and Old Key West continue to gain ground compared with this time last year. These resorts are a dependable fit for families who want regular access to Walt Disney World at a lower cost per point.

Lowest Pricing Tier

Vero Beach Resort continues to offer the lowest price in the DVC lineup at $53.10 per point. Hilton Head Island Resort is the next most affordable option at $69.22. Both resorts make it easier to start your DVC ownership with a smaller upfront investment. Keep in mind that both typically carry higher annual maintenance fees, which are the yearly dues owners pay to cover resort upkeep and operations. Be sure to compare these ongoing costs alongside the purchase price so you have a complete view of the value each contract offers.
