At the top of the mountain is Ober Gatlinburg where are you can go alpine sledding, ride the Alpine coaster, ice-skating, and many other things. If you’ve been, but haven’t been in a while there are new restaurants and Anakeesta theme park just minutes from the chalet.

You are only 14 miles from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and minutes from the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. It’s the perfect time of year for the color changes in the leaves. There’s a grocery store about 15 minutes away. Bear sightings are prevalent.
