There are a lot of perks to Disney Vacation Club ownership, but the best ones are those that save your family money! To that end, we’ve compiled all of the documented discounts available to DVC members for your reference. Though the discounts are widespread at Walt Disney World, not every resort, restaurant, or activity lists a discount for Disney Vacation Club members. Always make sure to ask about discounts at checkout because they won’t typically be applied automatically.
Proof of Membership
To take advantage of these discounts as a DVC member, you’ll need to show valid proof of your membership at the time of purchase. Be sure to have your Disney Vacation Club Member ID handy—whether that’s a physical card or a digital version—when buying or redeeming discounted annual passes, merchandise, dining, and more. Cast Members will require this verification before applying any special pricing or offers. Keep in mind that, effective June 2023, to obtain a Disney Vacation Club Membership Card, members must accumulate a total of at least 150 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, LLC.
Park Tickets & Annual Passes
These discounts can vary depending on limited-time promotions, but DVC owners generally receive special rates on Annual Passes and renewals. The same goes for special events at the parks, such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Also, make sure you keep an eye out for the occasional special offers on park admission available exclusively to the DVC family!
Annual Pass Options for DVC Members
Disney Vacation Club members enjoy access to special rates on select Walt Disney World Annual Passes. As of the latest updates, the primary pass available only to DVC members (and Florida residents) is the Sorcerer Pass. This pass provides the flexibility to hold up to five park reservations at once, with the only restriction being certain blackout dates during peak holiday periods. For those looking for maximum flexibility, the Incredi-Pass, offered to all guests, comes with no blackout dates and similar reservation privileges.
These discounts aren’t just for anyone—DVC members can purchase discounted annual passes for themselves and their immediate family who reside in the same household. Immediate family for this purpose includes spouses, domestic partners, children, parents, siblings, in-laws, and grandparents, but everyone over 18 will need to show valid ID proving they share a household. The most commonly accepted forms of ID are a government-issued photo ID or driver’s license reflecting your current address.
“Immediate family,” according to Disney’s definition for discount eligibility, includes:
- Spouses or domestic partners
- Parents and step-parents (including in-laws)
- Children and step-children
- Siblings and step-siblings (including siblings-in-law)
- Grandparents and grandchildren
Keep in mind, these discounted passes can’t be bought as gifts or transferred to friends or extended family who live elsewhere—the benefit strictly applies to those under your roof only. There is a limit of eight discounted passes per household, and Disney keeps a close eye on appropriate use. Misuse could cause the benefit to be revoked, so be sure to stick to the household rule.
How Do I Purchase DVC Annual Passes?
Members can purchase discounted annual passes either online (through the DVC member website or by calling Member Services) or at Guest Relations locations throughout Walt Disney World and Disney Springs. It’s worth noting, however, that these passes aren’t available at resort front desks.
Don’t forget to present your Disney Vacation Club membership card and valid photo ID when you buy or pick up your pass, whether online or in person. Discounted renewal rates are also available, so you can continue making the most of your membership year after year.
General DVC Discounts
Transportation – DVC members get free parking on Disney property. Additionally, they may be eligible for a 20% discount on car rentals from Alamo, National, and Enterprise.
Childcare – If you’re looking for some adult time with the kids safely supervised (by someone else), take advantage of a 15% discount on children’s activity centers at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Polynesian Resort, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club Resort, and Beach Club Resort.
Tours – At every park in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, DVC members save 20% on VIP Tours. At Animal Kingdom, DVC members can save 15% on the Savor the Savannah tour and Wild Africa Trek. And at Magic Kingdom, there is a 15% discount on Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour.
Spa and Salon Services – Receive a discount on select services at Disney salons and spas, particularly at The Spa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. At Disneyland Resort in California, Disney Vacation Club members can enjoy select special upgrades and add-ons with no extra cost.
Other Services – Ask about DVC member discounts from Disney Fine Art Photography, Best Friends Pet Care, as well as Magical Floral & Gifts: In-Room Celebrations.
Room Rate Discounts for DVC Members
If you’re wondering whether your Disney Vacation Club membership comes with extra savings on resort stays, you’re in luck. DVC members are often eligible for special discounts on rooms at Disney Vacation Club Resorts, both when booking with points and when reserving with cash. These offers change throughout the year and can depend on resort availability or promotional periods, so it’s a good idea to check the Disney Vacation Club website or ask at booking for current deals. While not every date or room type will always be discounted, many members find that these savings add up quickly, making those magical getaways even easier on the wallet.

Disney Vacation Club members receive 20% off at all Disney-owned shops in the parks, resorts, and golf shops. But you may also be eligible for discounts at select stores that are not owned by Disney.

At Givenchy at Plume et Palette Boutique, DVC members can receive a deluxe gift and a complimentary makeover with a purchase of $100 or more. At Guerlain at La Signiture Boutique, members get a deluxe gift with a purchase of $200 or more. Receive 10% off at Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers.
Animal Kingdom
15% off all non-sale merchandise at the Rainforest Cafe store as well as Yak & Yeti Bhaktapur Market.

Discounts on Recreation
Disney Vacation Club members receive a substantial discount on all Disney golf courses, so make sure that you ask before booking a tee time. If you’re looking for advice on improving your game, take golf lessons at 20% off. Or, the whole family can join in the fun with 15% off miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland.
At Fort Wilderness, DVC members can enjoy 10% savings on select activities at Tri-Circle-D Ranch and 15% off Wilderness Back Trail Adventures.
Other activity discounts include 20% off the Aerophile Balloon, 15% off Surrey Bikes, 10% off Mobility Scooters, 10% off Tennis Lessons.

Tables in Wonderland: Current Status and Benefits
At this time, Tables in Wonderland is not available for purchase, including to Disney Vacation Club members. Previously, when offered, this membership could be purchased at a discounted rate by DVC members and provided a 20% dining discount at a wide selection of restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort. If the program returns in the future, it can be a valuable perk to look out for—offering savings on meals, beverages, and even select lounges throughout the parks and resorts.

As mentioned earlier, these are just the discounts that we could find officially documented; there may be other discounts and special offers that we’re not aware of, so you should always ask to be sure.
It is important to note that there are some restrictions that do not transfer over when you buy on the resale market. Among these restrictions are discounts on dining, shopping, and park passes. Some Member Getaways Program also does not transfer specific collections, including Adventurer, Concierge, Cruise, or Disney. When weighing the pros and cons of the resale market, many buyers find that they save more buying on the resale market than they would get in discounts from buying directly from Disney. Or, many owners purchase the minimum 150 points to get the Disney membership extras and supplement their points by buying more through the resale market.
