A lot is happening at Walt Disney World! So, before we delve into the July 2025 average DVC resale price per point, let’s hit the highlights. To start, Disney has added three new Good-to-Go Days to the beginning of August, when Annual Passholders can visit the parks without a reservation. These dates are August 3rd, 4th, and 7th.
More importantly, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns for select nights between August 15 to October 31, 2025! This spooky celebration will feature all-new exclusive apparel, souvenirs, and collectables, including a new spirit jersey, drinkware, backpack, pins, and more. Not to mention, dozens of new terrifying treats and old favorites will be available both during the party and normal park hours. Sink your teeth into savory snacks like Sausage BOOtine, signature drinks and cocktails like the Magic Potion Slushy and Cauldron Cold Brew, or opt for sweet treats like the Ghostly Delight Sundae and Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Cheesecake.
Finally, as we mentioned last month, August is your last chance this year to head to Blizzard Beach! The beach’s seasonal closure begins on September 8th. Now, let’s get into last month’s price per point!
July 2025 Average DVC Resale Price Per Point by Contract Size
If you’re trying to estimate the cost of your DVC ownership, it’s best to consider the size of the contract you’ll purchase. Your contract size is the amount of DVC points you’ll receive annually to spend on vacations. So, the more points you purchase, the more you’ll spend. Moreover, some DVC resort stays cost more points than others. If there is a certain resort you’d like to visit, be sure to look into how many points your preferred length of stay will cost you. DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!
The graph above is a simple representation of the fluctuations of resale points price, ending with July 2025 average DVC resale price per point. From this graph, we can see that both the Disneyland Hotel and the Polynesian decreased in price per point. Meanwhile, Copper Creek increased in price. Other resorts saw little fluctuation in price.
The average resale price per point for DVC properties is affected by factors like pending reservations, the availability of points, and the annual allocation of points received. So, if you’re considering selling your DVC points, you should consider these factors.
Of course, high demand raises prices. So, the more popular the DVC resort, the more expensive it will be. This often results in DVC resorts on Walt Disney World property being pricier. If you’re vacationing on a budget, you may want to opt for less-expensive properties like Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort; even Aulani is only around $100 per point! However, if you insist on staying near the parks, according to the July 2025 average DVC price per point, more affordable options include Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, and Boulder Ridge.
