Unsurprisingly, contract size is one of the biggest factors affecting the average DVC resale price per point. Keep in mind, though, that contract size affects each DVC property differently. So don’t expect to find one unifying trend in the impact of contract size on the cost of these resorts! DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!
If there’s one thing this chart makes clear, it’s that the average DVC price per point is always changing. This month, both Grand Californian and Aulani saw a downward shift in price, while Grand Floridian has continued its upward trend.
Two other factors you’ll want to keep in mind that can affect prices are property reservations and point availability. Be sure to keep an eye out for these factors if you plan to sell your DVC points or buy points.
Of course, one other factor to consider is a resort’s popularity. The more popular a resort is, the more likely it is to be a bit pricey. As a result, a great way to save a bit of money is to stay at a less-visited DVC property. Every DVC resort has fantastic accommodations and plenty of amenities, so you’re bound to have a great time no matter which you choose!
