What’s Coming Up at Disney?
May is looking to be another exciting month at Disney, with plenty of new shows on the way. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be opening Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After on May 27. This live show features beloved Disney villains like Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, and Captain Hook, as they try to use the Magic Mirror to find out which villain has been treated most unfairly of them all. Hollywood Studios is also reimagining its Little Mermaid show as The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. This new version of the show brings the classic Disney film to life with stunning set pieces and cutting-edge effects.
Hollywood Studios isn’t the only park getting in on the fun! The Magic Kingdom will be welcoming a new nighttime parade this summer: Disney Starlight – Dream the Night Away. Watch as the Blue Fairy lights up the night with a dazzling display of magical moments from Disney stories like Frozen, Moana, Peter Pan, Encanto, and more. As for events, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is still running, and ends on June 2nd. So if you want to visit and see the stunning, Disney-themed gardens and topiaries, now’s the time!
April 2025 Average DVC Resale Price Per Point by Contract Size
As you might expect, one of the biggest factors affecting the average DVC resale price per point is contract size. With that said, it doesn’t affect each resort the same way. As a result, it’s important not to take a “one size fits all” mentality when comparing these resorts. DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!
As you could probably guess, it isn’t exactly easy to predict how the average DVC resale price per point will change. In fact, these prices are constantly changing. This month in particular had a mix of price increases and decreases. If you were hoping to stay at Old Key West, for example, you’re in luck! Meanwhile properties like the Grand Floridian have seen sharp increases.
Other factors that can affect these prices are property reservations and point availability. So keep an eye out for these factors if you’re planning to sell your DVC points.
Naturally, another factor that can affect the price per point of a resort is its popularity. So more popular resorts tend to be pricier. If you’d like to save some money, consider staying at a less-visited DVC resort. You’ll still get to enjoy plenty of fun amenities and spacious accommodations no matter which you choose, so you’ll have a great time at any DVC resort!
