The brand originally catered to travelers for brief periods of time in the form of motels and inns, but in 2008, they  launched Holiday Inn Club Vacations, the timeshare leg of the company. 

Today, there are over 30 Holiday Inn Club Vacations resorts throughout the world. Holiday Inn still focuses on creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for its guests, in addition to offering unforgettable vacation experiences. There are currently seven tiers of membership:

Member (1 to 149,999 Club Points) – Regular members enjoy access to all Holiday Inn Club Vacations resorts, as well as access to the Signature Collection portfolio 59 days prior to check-in.

Prime Platinum (150,000 to 299,999 Club Points) – Prime Platinum members enjoy a 10% advanced booking window discount, three nights of complimentary resort stays and other awesome perks.

Preferred Platinum (300,000 to 499,999 Club Points) – Included in the Preferred Platinum membership is a 15% advanced booking window, 5 nights of complimentary resort stays each year, 2 reservation upgrades, and other benefits.

Premier Platinum (500,000 to 749,999 Club Points) – Prestige members are offered a 20% advanced booking window discount, 7 nights of complimentary resort stays each year, 4 reservation upgrades and access to a 20% Signature Collection discount.

Prestige Platinum (750,000 to 999,999 Club Points) – With 9 nights of complimentary resort stays, a 25% advanced booking window discount, and 4 reservation upgrades per year, Elite members enjoy many of the best Holiday Inn Club perks

Elite Platinum (1,000,000 to 1,999,999 Club Points) – Elite Platinum takes luxury to a whole new level! Elite members have a 30% advanced booking window discount, 11 nights of complimentary resort stays, unlimited reservation upgrades, and more.

Diamond Platinum (2,000,000 or more Club Points) – Last but not least, Diamond Platinum members enjoy 35% advanced booking window discounts and 14 nights of complimentary resort stays, alongside all of the other perks found in the other membership tiers.
