Overview of Disney Vacation Club Orlando Resorts

Disney Vacation Club Orlando Resorts

Disney Vacation Club provides thousands of families with years of unforgettable vacation memories. From access to Disney’s theme parks to world-class amenities at each resort, DVC is a vacation club like no other. Disney Vacation Club resorts in Orlando give owners a chance to vacation each year amongst the magic of Walt Disney World. You’ll find that the magic doesn’t stop at the theme parks because each DVC Orlando resort has its own sprinkling of pixie dust.

Disney Vacation Club Orlando Resorts

Each DVC resort in Orlando is unique and offers its own perks. Whether its proximity to the parks or one-of-a-kind amenities, each resort offers a memorable vacation for guests. Let’s chat about what each resort offers, their transportation options, their 2022 annual dues, and how many points they cost per night.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas

Disney Vacation Club Orlando Resorts

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most unique resorts on Walt Disney Property, if not the world! Guests can enjoy views of the Savanna from their DVC villas’ balconies. This means that you might catch incredible views of exotic animals walking past during your stay. Animal Kingdom Lodge also offers fine dining restaurants that serve authentic African cuisine, as well as quick service options with more options for even the pickiest of eaters. DVC members can either stay in the resort’s main building, Jambo House, or in Kidani Village which only offers DVC villas. Since Jambo House is the main hub of the resort, you will find more amenities there, but all guests can access Jambo House by shuttle or by a walkway.

Transportation is key when staying at one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts in Orlando. This is because the Walt Disney World Resort is spread out over about 25,000 acres. Animal Kingdom Lodge may seem a bit secluded from the rest of the DVC resorts, which some guests find to be its biggest perk. Because of this distance, Animal Kingdom Lodge offers Disney resort buses as its main mode of transportation. Guests can use ride-share services like Disney’s Minnie Vans or Uber.

This “beachfront” resort has one of the most unique pool areas out of all of the DVC resorts. Stormalong Bay not only has a beautiful sand-bottom pool, but it also has a lazy river and a 230-foot-long waterslide that begins on a life-sized shipwreck. This is one of the highest hotel slides of any of the Walt Disney World resorts. There are also three leisure pools for those looking for a more relaxing pool day. Disney’s Riviera Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort is the newest of the Disney Vacation Club resorts in Orlando. This resort was inspired by Walt Disney’s favorite place, the European Riviera. You’ll find influences from not only 20th-Century Europe but also from classic Disney characters all around the resort. One of the features that make the Riviera Resort unique is the ornate mosaics that are located next to the quiet pool, so be sure to look out for those when you visit. The European influence can also be experienced through the Riviera’s dining options. One of the most popular new restaurants at Disney, Topolino’s Terrace, is located on the top floor of the Riviera. Guests can enjoy the restaurant’s European-inspired cuisine, then head out onto the rooftop terrace to enjoy stunning views. Topolino’s Terrace also offers character dining during breakfast hours!

The Turf Club Bar and Grill is reminiscent of a racetrack clubhouse but also offers views of the golf course. Within the DVC villas, you will see art pieces of horses and Victorian-era decor.
